A while back I sold a lower grade copy of Hulk #1 and Ijust found the remainder of that 1962-1963 set – also lower to low grade.Hulk #2 – Just about a Fair Plus Plus, but some graders more lenient than I might call it a Good Minus. It would be a strong G but for the 1/2 inch chunk out of the spine where (I assume) the 2 nd staple was torn out. It’s taped and runs through the whole book. It really doesn’t look bad here in the scan, but my description is accurate. Book is complete, no missing pages, no missing panels and in spite of all this, the pages are fairly supple and cream colored.Hulk #3 – Fair Minus, I guess. Hard to really say. The book is complete, but for one 2 inch by 3/4 inch chunk out of the first page’s splash panel (really annoying). It’s heavily taped along the spine, a couple of tape marks on the front cover’s outer edge (tape seems to be gone) and the back cover is taped in a few spots. You can see the chunk out of the upper front corner of the cover. Again, no missing pages, no missing panels (just that chunk out of the Splash, darn it). Also, pages are moderately supple.Hulk #4 – Fair. Tape on the front cover over the “K” and over the Hulk’s ear on the right. Chip out of the cover on the lower right which you can see.
