Incredible pair of ceramic flamingos is just fabulous! A rare find indeed! This pair is ca. 1930-40's and are in superior condition for their size and age. The larger is 16 inches tall, the shorter is 13.5 inches tall. The Shorter flamingo has a suface nick appx 1/4" long on the tail and t is a hairline crack at the base that runs up to the foot of the bird, but is difficult to see without very close inspection. Other than that t are a couple of underglase crazing lines, also hard to see and only on the shorter bird. Tall bird has a small scuff in the paint under the glaze near the base in the back. It is not a scratch, only a spot w the paint wasn't applied thoroughly before firing. Overall, these two statues are just marvelous. No identifying marks. Questions welcome.
