Incredible Renaissance Sewing/Jewelry Stand circa 1875 Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Incredible Renaissance Sewing/Jewelry Stand circa 1875 ITEM DESCRIPTION: You are bidding on a Very Rare American made Renaissance Revival Victorian Sewing Stand circa 1875. Made of solid walnut with ebonized metal or bronze medallion of George Washington in center of dome lid. Has gold incised carving, ebonizing, two shelves with spindled railings, and wonderful brass feet. This is a sewing stand but would make a really neat jewelry box or makeup box on a stand. Has original pin cushion, mirror, and a locking lid with key. A rare piece of American furniture for sure! I have seen these priced upwards to $5,000. This one is finer than any I have seen and has a price anyone can live with. Condition: Very Good original finish. Starting bid is our reserve price. Measurements: 15 wide x 30 tall.
