Stantonsburg Antiques Presents:This Incredible Victorian Rosewood Highly Carved Mirrored Armoire Wardrobe circa 1865. This impressive large armoire features an abundance of detailed carvings of grape clusters and scrolls below the highly arched top, gorgeous carved key escutcheons, and regal turned and spiral columns that flank the mirrored doors. A massive amount of storage space is found inside with the original shelves and wonderful curly maple interior. Large storage drawers with period dove-tailed joinery, the original pulls and stunning carved key escutcheons are at the base. This piece appears to have its original mirrors on the doors that do show some age appropriate streaking and cloudiness....nothing major in my opinion. The locks are intact but the tasseled key provided just aids in opening the doors. This armoire truly has a commanding presence all its own and offers a huge amount of storage possibilities....its in excellent antique condition with no issues noted....would positively be a statement piece in about any room of your home.Measurements:97 inches high ( 8ft 1 in)60 inches widetotal depth of 23 inchesweighs approximately 225 lbsinside top shelf: 57 1/2 inches wide by 12 inches deepshelves on right side: 30 inches wide by 18 inches deep* This armoire breaks down into 11 pieces for easier handling during shipping and moving.Please view , enlarge and use all 12 of the pictures as part of the description and ask all questions and concerns before purchase.
