For your consideration, this beautifully ornate wrought/forged five-hook iron game or utensil rack is clearly the work of a master blacksmith and could easily be viewed as folk art. The surface is characterized by an even dark dry patina. Dating from the 18thC Colonial era (possibly 1750-1780), it measures an impressive 25" wide by 21" tall. Much smaller and similar but much less decorative hook racks are shown on page 199 of the George C. Neumann book on Early American Antique Country Furnishings. Note : the spoon and fork shown in the third image are for display purposes only and are not included in this auction. Please consult scans for condition. Careful packing/shipping is $19.85 anywhere is the continental US. If I am materially off on my shipping estimate, you can expect a refund of the difference. If you are outside of the US, please check with me before you bid on this item to avoid any confusion/disappointment. Payment is expected from winning bidder within five days of invoice. Questions welcome. Thanks for looking and
