Up for sale is this Fantastic Ohio Thebes. Made out of milky white glossy Flint Ridge flint. This point measures 3 1/2" long by 1 1/2" wide. This is an ex Jim McConnell piece. This point is from Coshocton County, Ohio. This point has execellent Archaic edgework, base is heavily ground. The base does have some characterics of a dovetail, but the notches are classic Thebes. It looks like it might have had one prehistoric sharpening. This is just a super point that would make an attractive center piece for any frame of flint. This point like all my artifacts are 100% guarenteed authentic. I strive to sell Ohio point types that are authentic. I will not now or ever list an item that is not authentic, if it is not I will list it as Contemporary. This point would make a great addition to any collection.
