's a nice Middle Archaic Period (5,500-4,500 yr. old) LAMOKA Point from Montgomery Co., Pennsylvania, found along the Schuylkill River near Philadelphia many years ago. It's 2 in. long, made of jet black Lehigh Valley Flint and in perfect condition. The little notch on one side is not a break, the point was made this way due to a flaw in the stone the Indian had to work around. This point is a little thick as are many Lamokas. It's a very nice example of this northeastern point type. It's from the old David Taylor collection of Barbours, PA. My AACA, ARROWPACK and G.I.R.S. memberships guarantee the authenticity of my artifacts for life, OR YOUR MONEY BACK! Buyer pays $1.75 S/H. No reserve. Good luck!
