This colorful Hardaway point, late paleo 10000-8000 BP (before present), measures 3/4 inch in length by 3/4 inch at maximum width. Point is made of colorful glossy semi-translucent vein quartz and features a wide heavily ground concave base, expanded flared auricles (ears), ground side notches, short tip with straight edges, fine symetry and perfect condition. Point was collected from a late to transitional paleo ridge top site in Alleghany County North Carolina. This is a superb example of a smaller quartz North Carolina Hardaway point. Very hard to find these in perfect condition!
