Wonderful little fluted dart point that is made of milky white Quartz recovered from an Indian site in the 1970s on the Meherrin River in Greensville County , Va.!It measures approx. 3/4" Long X 1/2" Wide ! It has one large 5/16" flute on one face ,a ground base and shoulders that are ground 5/16" up the side. On the other face t is some damage that the archaeologist I showed it to said said could be from a bad fracture during the flutingof that sideas it has the same ancient patinaas the rest of the point.I am selling this for a friend who is a knowledgeable archaeologist who is liquidating part of his collection ! Recovered from private property with owners written permission !It is being sold as is !
