Up for sale is a replica of an 1889 Campaign Hat that would have been used in the time period of the Spanish American War or even the late Indian Wars. This is a nice quality 3XXX Stetson hat that is in great condition. I have reshaped it to have the appearance of a hat that has accompanied a trooper through many months of chasing the enemy. The hat is tan in color as many of the originals were . This hat is adorned with an Officer's hat cord and a brass set of crossed sabers. The size label read 7 1/2. I have made many of these hats as they are very popular with reenactors and used on many historical displays around the world. You can buy this hat with confidence! Take a look at my reviews. The hat in the third picture is an original to compare to. The hat is not as dark as it appears but is darker than the band.
