INDIANA CARNIVAL GLASS PUNCH BOWL SET During the 1900’s, colorful lustrous glassware pieces became quite common prizes given away at fairs and carnivals,hence the name, “Carnival Glass”. The term "Carnival Glass" is still used to describe the shimmery glass that is so sought after today. This is a gorgeous vintageIndiana Carnival Glass Punch Bowl Set produced in the 1970’s. The shimmering gold colored glass is embossed in a grape and leaf design known as the Harvest pattern. The iridescence created by the metallic salts put on the glass surface during production is stunning. This set includes the Punch Serving Bowl, 14 Cups and the plastic Ladle. The perfect service for a summer Tea, Luncheon or Shower. Imagine this bowl on your table filled with sparkling punch for your party guests---Or fill it with cinnamon eggnog for the winter holidays! The Serving Bowl is large, measuring 12 inches diameter x 7 inches high. Each cup is 3.5 inches diameter x 2.5 inches tall. No cracks. No chips. No stains. Only a couple of bubbles in the glass bowl as commonly seen. Excellent condition overall. This beautiful vintage Punch Bowl Set was purchased at an estate auction in the mountains of North Carolina and has not been altered in any way since purchased (other than washing off some dirt and dust).
