Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark Abner Ravenwood’s Journal Replica Prop You are bidding on a unique replica prop of Abner Ravenwood’s Journal with 25 FREE inserts , as seen in Raiders of the Lost Ark . This outstanding Replica Prop Journal has taken many months of research and creativity to complete. It is based solely on a mix of fictional and real ancient history. The journal has a pale olive green outer heavy linen cover with a linen red spine to achieve the vintage look as seen in the film. Abner’s journal is visible in two scenes from Raiders of the Lost Ark: the surveying scene and the map room scene.The outside of the book has been slightly distressed and weathere d as seen in the photos. The covers are made from actual book binding boards giving it its authentic thickness and feel. The inner ruled pages are designed and weathered to give the journal that distressed look of much use by Abner and later Indy. There are 73 written pages packed with 41 detailed illustrations; 8 floor plans; 7 mathematical equations and 3 maps. At the end of the journal there are 19 blank pages making it 92 pages in total! The journal measures: 5.375” X 7.625” X 1.25” (13.7cm X 19.4cm X 3.2cm). This hand assembled replica prop is Proudly Made in the U.S.A. The entire book from start to finish follows Abner’s pursuit for the most coveted treasure of the Israelite's: the Ark of the Covenant. Each page is printed double sided with an industrial Laser Jet book printer on heavy bond paper for detail. It is then hand sewn together and trimmed on a cutting press. Since these replica journals are entirely assembled by hand; there are some minor variations to each of them making them completely one of a kind.
