This kraut cutter was produced by Indianapolis Sanitary. It is a model 643 and is in excellent condition, in my opinion. The factory stamp is still as clear as the day it was made. This one is kind of unique in that it has a galvanized tray, not wood, that the cabbage slides on. That's bound to make it easier to clean. They probably did it as a safety factor, as wood holds bacteria. It has three removable blades. The detail in the dovetail joints on the box, shown in the pictures, looks like these were each hand carved. It is clear that these were not done by a machine and mass produced. It measures 28-1/2 " long x 9" wide x 2" thick (4" thick with the box). The pictures should tell it all. Thanks for looking! I have worked very hard to keep a 100% positive feedback rating. I stand by what I sell. I add extra photo's, at my expense, to try to show every angle, side and view possible, so you can see what you are buying. It takes a lot of time to do that, especially when I edit each picture for brightness, sharpness etc. T is nothing worse than bidding on an item with a fuzzy dark photo. That being said, look over the photos and please email any questions at least 24 hours prior to the close of the auction.I only ship to the lower 48 states, unless you get prior approval from me.
