Indo-Persian Sindh Armor 18th Century Very rare and beautiful Mughal Sindh Armor constructed from eleven rectangular plates surrounding the torso and four small plates protecting the upper chest. The back of the shoulder contains three rows of articulated plates each consisting of about fifteen pieces. The entire construction is suspended from the upper shoulder on a well preserved riveted chainmail. On some of the plates the brass border decorations are intact and on other only remains and traces exist. The front plates have ten rings used to lace up the armor. Rust exist throughout the entire piece, some plates are rusted through at the borders as seen in the pictures. Overall armor is in good stable condition for its age. A nice and rare addition to any armor collection.
