DIMENSIONS: Height adjustable from 33" - 44 1/2" (measured with the top bracket horizontal). One could easily use this table standing up. Base footprint approx 24" x 21". Total weight: 45 lbs. DESCRIPTION: Vintage drafting table base. (No table top is included.) You are bidding on the actual table pictured. Heavy cast iron. Adjustable height (the central column is spring loaded for easy height adjustment). Adjustable tilt. Very high quality. All original. The table top attaches to the small central bracket (via 6 screws, not included) -- which is itself secured with a large wing nut. The table top is then tightened against the 4 nylon glides at the ends of the large x-frame (by tightening the large wing nut that secures the small central bracket). This allows the table top to be easily rotated in place if so desired (depending on how much the wing nut is tightened). Unsigned. Manufacturer unknown. American. Circa mid 20th century. CONDITION: Excellent, all original condition. No damages of any kind and no significant wear. No restorations. No missing, replaced or non original parts. Generally clean. No dings, dents, cracks, chips, corrosion. No signs of abuse. Knob in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Untouched original finish. Light, scattered oxidation. All functions work as they should with no issues. The new owner will want to lubricate the central column. Light, scattered, use-related wear. Generally this table appears to have been used with care. There is some scattered, production-related crudeness / irregularity in the casting. This should not be confused with wear or damage.
