The Ingraham Clock Company produced only a limited number of banjo clock models during their distinguished clockmaking history. The "NYANZA" was one of this line. Featuring a natural grain-rubbed solid Mahogany case, it includes wood side-arms with polished brass knobs. The paper dial cover marks it as one of their earlier production banjos. The dial is inscribed with the Ingraham company name. This particular clock includes a recently cleaned eight--day movement with a cathedral gong which melodiously sounds the hours. Except for a small stain on the dial (see photograph), the clock is in overall exdellent condition. The throat and lower door glasses are proper replacements. It runs well and keeps good time throughout its eight-day period of operation.
