for bid is this very old Ingraham Ionic figure 8, time only, wall clock,this clock is complete with key and pendulum.the size is appx 22 inches tall x appx 14 inches wide.this clock does run great, the hands are not original, the dial is pretty nice, and looks original, since it is zinc, and had a center brass ring to support it.but it does show some cracks in the paint due to age,this makes it even nicer to me.this clock has the original label inside as you can see. It reads Dec 24, 1885 (the last digit is not so clear), E Ingraham & Co, IONIC trade mark.The movement is cleaned and lubed, and marked E Ingraham, no additional holes on the back board.the clock has the adjustable pendulum bob for setting this clock.the little round thing on the clock in the left front has been replaced, this old fella is not perfect,but nice and runs great,both glasses are ok, and secured, t is a original reverse gold painting on the bottom glass door,its pretty nice also.not sure about the type of wood, but looks all original with no repairs.Case is in pretty good shape, with some dings due to age, but no major cracks,slight damage at the back of left side, barely noticeable. I am describing this to the best of my knowledge, and not making any claims on the age of clock. Don't assume anything, ask questions, email me if you need more pictures. Shipping, handling, and insurance is fixed at $45 in continental US, Alaska and Hawaii extra, no international bidders please. Must receive payment in seven days after the close of auction. Paypal, cashiers checks, personal checks ( time for clearance) are ok with me. Will mail original receipt for insurance claims.
