Done in the Rococo Revival style, this heavy cast brass inkwell has a hinged glass well of the "zippered" pattern. Ornate handles on each end set off the piece. There are a couple of very minor chips on the lid which can only be seen under a magnifying glass. Overall this unusual inkwell is in very good condition and would look nice on your desk.
