fourth quarter 19th century, having an oval scalloped top decorated with an oil portrait of a black and white Landseer Newfoundland dog, surrounded by mother of pearl inlay. Top is supported by a turned wood pedestal; all resting on metal feet. In original black paint with gilt striping; 28` high x 23` wide x 27.5` deep.
