This is a book written by Warren G. Hardings Attorney-General (1921-1924) Harry M. Daugherty. Daughtery defends President Harding after three books were published after Hardings death in 1923. The Attorney-General says yhe president was completly innocent of the scandalous stories or attacks fo three books entitled, "Revelry," "The Presidents Daughter," and "The strange Death of President Harding." Daughtery writes that in preparation of this book, He has read carefully more than two thousand letters, important telegrams, documents, secret service reports and signed affidavits. Every fact has been verified by authentic records which proved Harding had nothing to do with any scandals in his administration. This book was published in 1932, nine years after Harding died. The signed signature of Harry M. Daughtery is on the inside cover of the book. T are several pictures of Hardings cabinent members throughout the book, including Hardings Secretary of Commerce Herbert Hoover who went on to be elected President in 1928. The condition of this book is fair considering its age. T is some yellowing of the pages due to age. The book has 322 pages and all are intact. T are some tears at the top and bottom of the spines. Also, the corners especially the bottom of the front of hardback cover shows wear. More wear than tears. Winning bidder read more
