- eBay picture hosting PLEASE Superbly Decorated Chinese Pottery Yixing Teapot 18th C. interesting & fine relief work - No Reserve Description A Superb and most unusual Chinese stoneware Yixing covered teapot. The body is completely round in shape attractively decorated with Dogs of Foe / Dragon like creatures in a rarely found cream relief. The matching cover also decorated with in relief prunus and foliage. Both the handle and spout have been modelled to replicate bamboo. The finial on the lid has been carefully modelled as a Chinese hut. Beautifully made. This is a delightful & most rare little teapot! Age: 18th Century. Conditio n: The teapot is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines or restorations. The lid is as shown.
