This is an early dirk with a stiletto blade of an interesting off-set diamond form, with a central ridge much higher on one side than the other, long and vicious blade measuring just under 8" in length, exhibiting lovely smooth grey patina throughout and bearing several markings on ricasso. Blade is very stab-worthy and in overall very good condition. Solid brass hilt with elaborate designs sits completely solid and feels heavy and solid in hand. Replacement scabbard of soft leather, without which the dirk is 12" overall.
