For auction is an interesting old cast iron bank or money box. It is a figure of an old man with pipe dressed in a waistcoat and top hat. On the hat it reads: RANSVAAL MONEY BOX. On the back it says: BY PERMISSION OF THE PROPRIETORS OF THE WESTMINSTER CAZELIE. The coin slot is on the top and the removal screw is on the back, just above the two buttons on the tail of his coat. Condition is good, his pipe is loose but still attached (may need repair). Most of the original paint is present. T is some paint wear on the brim of his top hat and the tips of his shoes and a few small spots and t, but it is mostly intact. The bottom has a removeable vented plate that has the start of some rusting (see photo). It's a very unusual and interesting old bank. Most likely from England but he has somewhat of an Uncle Sam look to him. Please feel free to email me with any questions. If you would like additional photos, please include your email address. I ship Priority Mail, please add for insurance if desired. I pack well (read my feedback) but I am not responsible for items that are not insured. Thanks, and please check out my other auctions. I will combine on shipping!
