Offered with out reserve is this interesting white work sampler. Worked in different styles and stitch type including lace cut and drawn panels. On the bach is the inscription from whos collection this came from, that reads... "This probably a sampler for ecelastical embroidery done by a student (possibly to instruct other students buy post) at the Embroiders Guild. Mid 20th C. Brought at EG Sale at Wimpole St. " with the guilds stamp at the bottom.
The panel its self measures 8 3/4 x 11 1/2 inch.
