Hard to find International Engineering Piranha II 1/24th scale 'Thingie' Please note: Depending on final price there may be an additional $10.00 mandatory insurance cover once maximum free limit exceeded Body paint by 'Bob' Kovacs Motor by Classic - CM250 - FT36D Chassis by International Industries Wheels & tires by Riggen Body has cracks above front wheel arches and outside of each headlight See images for chassis details Rear tires are originals & will probably need replacing Nice opportunity to pick up this very original car Produced for very short time, only full adverts I can find are in November & December 1966 Car Model & Model Car & Track magazines, with a few teaser ads in months prior May also appear in Model Car Science, but do not have copies to verify This car has been in dry storage for 40+ years. Was imported to New Zealand by an airline employee who flew to Los Angeles 2 or 3 times a week & visited local slot race centres to buy cars. It would appear that he built kits as supplied & did not change any parts such as motors, tires or wheels. The collection I acquired only had 1 loose motor amongst the complete cars which was not suitable for any of the chassis - a 16D can drive style Dynamic Green Hornet II. This car does not appear often, I haven't seen one on Ebay before, although that doesn't mean read more
