This is an elegant, vintage International Silver Co. Countess pattern silver plate tea tray. The tray is well crafted in rectangular, curved corner form. It has thick, well cast raised scrolling trim in a floral or vine pattern. It is richly detailed with a recessed center. It has never been monogrammed. The measurements are 24 1/2 inches handle to handle and 14 3/4 wide. It is in fine condition with a rich patina. The extensive shell and scrolling foliate decoration retains its original detail. T are some small scuffs and lines from years of polishing, as shown in the photographs. The tray is exceptionally heavy, weighing nearly 7 pounds. Marks As you can see in the photographs, t are three marks. The first is engraved Countess in script, and underneath, the second mark is a stamp with the International Silver Company logo. Last, t is a number - 6291 - which I believe refers to the product number. For further information about the International Silver Company, click .
