1972 International Silver 12 Days of Christmas Sterling ornaments. These come in a storage box. The ornaments arein excellent condition considering they are now thirty-five years old. The set was originally available by subscription which is why you see many more of the first few ornaments available than the latter ones. These ornaments are somewhat unique in their construction. The insides are colored enamel - yellow, blue, red, green. On two sides of each ornament is a curved medallion depicting one of the 12 days of Christmas. The sterling part of the ornament has a laquer finish, which is why they stay shiny for many years without polish. Please ask any quesstion prior to bidding. The set was "upgraded" a little over the course of years by buying similar individual ornaments and exchanging the best one into this set. This isn't to say that it is mint, but unless a set were hermetically sealed, this set should rank above average. I have shown some corrosion on one of the tips in a photo. The box itself has some discoloration on the lid, but inside it looks excellent. I have been on eBay since 1997, my feedback is 100% and I strive to keep it that way.
