Ciao Ebayers, hold on to your hats! This week we have a stupendous group of Antique Silver Italian Ex-Votos for you. This group includes some of the MOST fabulous Framed Ex-Votos that we have ever found. T are three large Oval Framed Ex-Votos and one Square Framed Ex-Voto plus 6 beautiful unframed Hearts of various styles and sizes. For those of you who follow our Auctions, you already know that we are great admirers of these fascinating Church Offerings. As we travel around Italy and visit some of the most important and beautiful Churches in the world, we often discover the walls of the side altars covered from floor to ceiling with these exquisite Ex-Voto offerings. Ex-Votos are offered to God or a Saint as thanks for answered prayers. This wonderful tradition of a votive offering has been a tradition for Centuries. Please check our other auctions for each of these items. We have included a Group Photo with each listing so that you can see the Group together and get a better idea of their relative size. We have not attempted to clean or polish these Ex-Votos, and we present them to you as we found them with their antique patina.
