This is an Original Sepia toned Photograph shot c1900 attributed to Lomen Bros Photography in Nome Alaska. The image is wonderful and shows an Inuit Eskimo man smoking a Walrus Tusk pipe and clad in full fur Seal Skin clothes. The hard life he lived shows in his hands and wizened, weather-beaten yet handsome face. Marvelous image, the photograph speaks for itself. Archived with acid free interior and new dust cover. Original Dark Wood frame and old wavy glass with San Francisco turn of the century framer's label. Some minor yellowing above head in upper left middle from knot hole in original wood dust cover.
