Irish inspired American made. Screen Printed on a deep navy first quality heavy weight 50/50 Hanes or Gildan tee. Front print: pocket-sized two-color print with the gaelic crest of the Garda Síochána measuring 4” x 4.5”. Back print “ GARDA ” service lettering measuring 11’ x 4’. A brief history of the Gaurda will be included with each shirt (see size chart and t-shirt sample at the bottom of this page below).

The Garda Síochána (meaning in English: "The Guardians of the Peace") is the national police service in the Republic of Ireland . The Garda exercises all police functions in the country including the governmental security services, criminal and traffic enforcement.

The tradition of organized policing in Ireland can be traced back to the establishment of the County Constabulary in 1822 - this was a uniformed police force formed on a regional basis. In 1836 the Irish Constabulary (later to be known as the Royal Irish Constabulary) and the Dublin Metropolitan Police were established to replace the County Constabulary . In 1922 the Royal Irish Constabulary was disbanded with the foundation of the new Irish Free State the Garda Síochána was formed.
