The antique store on the street w my son's business is located is having a going-out-of-business sale. This darling perfume bottle was the best thing, to me, in the store. I saw it Friday and it haunted me, so I went back Monday and bought it. After doing some research, I'm convinced now that it was a VERY wise investment! This mini stands about 2 1/2" and is clear glass with an x and o pattern. The top is a golden toned metal with multicolored jewels on top. T is one tiny section, which is cleverly incorporated into the design, that is marked "Czechoslavakia". Adding to the dazzling charm of this little art piece, is a pair of blue glass slippers which dangle from the top via a golden toned chain. The bottom is marked "IRICE", which, I've learned is for Irvin Rice and that these little bottles are very collectible!!! I am not sure, but believe this is from 1910 or 1920. The condition: T is a little residue of perfume lingering on the sides of the bottle and one tiny stone on one shoe is missing. Good news, though - I called a local jeweler and was told that the stone could be replaced for $5.00 (the purchase price of stone alone).
