Guardsman GEORGE DANIEL KIBBLE Lot consists of the 1939-45 star, France & Germany Star, Defence Medal, War Medal, box of issue correctly named and with Irish Guards return address on rear. Photo of grave. Notification of death letter. Medal award/condolence slip, correctly named, not watermarked (they weren't) and reverse of slip states "order in which the awards should be set up, e.g., for framing", which is correct for a casualty slip. (Non-casualty slips state order of wearing). Three out of 6 condolence slips to Guardsmen I have seen were handwritten, the remainder typed.
