IRISH HOUSES & CASTLES, GUINNESS & RYAN, IRISH GEORGIAN SOCIETY, 1971, W/DJ, INSCRIBED, VERY GOOD CONDITION . So many books/so little time...but here's a strategy for coping with that dilemma...sell large books and empty the shelves more quickly. So...for your consideration, I am pleased to be able to offer a copy of a large book, titled: "Irish Houses & Castles" by Desmond Guinness (who inscribed this copy of the book to friends) and William Ryan. This very large book was published by Thames and Hudson, dated 1971, in cooperation with the Irish Georgian Society. The book measures 9 ¼ x 13 inches and contains 352 pages. It is bound in dark green cloth boards with a gilt and black label on the cover and gilt titles on the spine. I will include a photo of the Table of Contents for your further information and am pleased to note for you that the book has 371 plates, 51 of which are in color, and 33 plans.Condition : This book is in very good condition. The dust jacket shows a good deal of edge wear along its top edge where it is wrinkled and rolled and a bit darkened within. The dust jacket is price-clipped. Over ½ inch of the top edge of the hard covers of this large book have been sunned and the lower edge is also slightly faded and has two small specks of white.
