Isadora Paris PARIS This auction is for a full size bottle of Isadora* Paris bottle. It has a figural glass top of a nude, that was supposedly inspired by Isadora Duncan. The isadora bottle from what I have read was "possibly" originally a Lalique design. I have been searching all over the net for more information about whether this is a true Lalique design and so far I have found svereal sites that said yes, and several that said no... It is still a very beautiful design-either way.... The body of the top is in excellent condition. All I can see as far as imperfections are a tiny flea? bite under her right arm, and a tiny one on her right thigh top. They are very very small. The base is perfect, with the gold ISADORA Paris, and part of the original cording around it. The base edge may have a flea bite, but its smooth to touch and practically invisible. T are mold marks from the original casting also.Her ground glass base has a distinctive line that I believe is part of the manufacturing, and may be a makers mark ?Looks like a open c ? The base underneath is embossed:ISADORA 1979 BOTTLE MADE IN FRANCE, with a small c with a circle around it. It stands about 4 1/2 inches tall.
