This is a wonderful alabaster bear that was carved by Andy Abeita and his wife Roberta. They are members of Isleta Pueblo, and their bears are unique because they add parrot feathers to the back of the bear as adornments. This bear has blue, orange and tan feathers attached to his back with a Picasso marble arrowhead adornment, shell heishi, a piece of branch coral, a turquoise nugget and a jet seed bead. The side of the bear has an etched kiva and the bottom of the bear has Roberta and Andy's hallmark. The bear is 3" long, and 7/8" wide and 2 1/8" tall. The bear is an animal of strength, introspection and self-knowledge. The cost for shipping and handling is $6.00.
