Up for auction is a complete early 1970s shaving kit issued by the

Israeli Defence Force (IDF)

This kit was introduced as standard issue to new recruitments.

Features :

1 x Israeli Army Field Toiletry Pouch

1 x Israeli Army Safety Razor

1 x Israeli Army Shaving Brush

2 x un-used Israeli Army blade packages

The Toiletry Pouch :

The olive-green pouch is stamped with the IDF army mark (" צ "). This symbol is the I.D.F official logo that is marked on every army item since 1948. It is a Hebrew letter abbreviated from the Hebrew word ZAHAL which means I.D.F. This item is marked with the manufacturer year of: 1971 .

The Razor :

The Razor is stamped Â" Amcor Â" and Â" Pleese Â". The Israeli Amcor Company made this razor in the 1950s and up to the 1970s for the IDF (Israel Defense force). It has the army mark on the bottom of the handle (Â" צ Â"). The razor comes apart in three sections and screws back together.

The Razor is in Very Good condition . This razor is in its original condition and appears that it may have been only used a few times!

The Shaving Brush :

The Shaving Brush has a metal handle. No marks. Size: 10 cm tall.

The Brush is in GOOD condition. Showing signs of usage & minor wear.

The Blades :

The 2 razor blade packages are:

PERMA-SHARP and DIPLOMAT PLATINUM PLUS

The packages are still sealed with 3 blades each. The packages are marked in Hebrew:

"FOR I.D.F SOLDIERS ONLY "

And

"A SOLDIER'S RATION "

The packs are marked with the logo of the Israeli Military Canteen Service (In Hebrew: SHEKEM ).

THIS WOULD MAKE A WONDERFUL ADDITION TO ANY COLLECTION.
