This lovely sculpture in alabaster portrays fisherman boy. In this work of great lightness and simplicity every detail is carefully gauged in order to maintain the naturalness and playfulness of the scene. Gambogi was part of the lively community of sculptors active in Florence around the turn of the century who produced high quality decorative marbles for an international clientele. Condition :Very good ,little professional restoration.
