The elaborate inlaid burl has only very minor flaws. The top is a smoke or coppery mirror. The drawers have dove tailed solid wood sides and this piece was finely crafted in Italy about 1940. The top and sides curve gently together. The original finish has very little wear and is in excellent condition. It has a very warm color and there are ebony accents in the shaped pedestals going down to the marble base. This beautifully crafted piece has drawer fronts that are over an inch thick. Everything fits and operates smoothly. It is 80" long, 20" deep, and 36" tall. The oval shape and warm patina make this a spectacular piece that could be used just about anywhere.
