Italian 1938 model Carcano folding bayonet marked on handle is an oval shape that has what looks like a CB in it but the strike is shallow so it could be CD. I am unfamiliar with the marks. Also there is a crescent shape inside a circle with what appears to be letters in the crescent, but I can't be sure. Next is L 88211. When I bought this bayonet there was a tag that stated this was a Finnish Italian 1938 but in my research I have found that the Finnish models have an SA marking, I was guessing that if the marks were not there then it is not a Finnish model, but I really just don't know. And the tag has been misplaced and I can't remember all that was written on it. The gentleman that I got the bayonet from was a collector who seemed to know his stuff but people make mistakes. Maybe someone seeing this can tell me if this is or is not a Finnish model. Length is just about 8.5 closed and approximately 11.5 open. It does not look like the blade has ever been sharpened, but there still is a sharp edge. There is what looks like an A next to where the barrel goes in.The pivot screw is missing so blade just comes out, the slide button moves and the spring is strong. Please see pics for condition.
