this is a 5 day auction
this a tremendous vintage mid-century SET of 4 Italian LEATHER & Chrome Dining/Side Chairs. this is a classic european design from the 60's. they are incredibly cool and comfortable. way way cool. they are in great vintage condition. t is some wear to the leather, but no rips or tears, just normal leather patina and some scuffs. nothing that detracts from the overall look of the chairs. if you are interested in just purchasing two chairs, please check out my other auction of (1) pair. AND I am also selling a Milo Baughman dining table that would go great with this set. please check out my other auctions. this classic italian dining set would be a signature piece in any modern, palm springs, or eames era home... or office. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER LISTINGS, TOO for cool 60's and 70's mid-century pieces... I work very hard to accurately describe every item. because these are authentic mid-century vintage items from the 1960's t is usually some minor wear, appropriate for the age. so please look carefully at the photographs, read this description carefully, and ask any questions prior to bidding. My sales are final and I do not accept returns or issue refunds. You must wait for the claim to settle in case of merchandise damaged during shipping. Please do not reply to emails from someone else offering a second chance on my pieces. I do not do second chance offers because of the risk of fraud. I wanted to clarify the vintage condition of these chairs. they are not minty clean. t is definitely some wear to these chairs. I think overall it is a very natural patina and wear. BUT they are forty years old. and even though they have no rips. parts of the very intricate leather weave are drier than others. and t are some scuffs to the leather. the leather definitely needs to be moisturized to help make it more supple. I have not moisturized them. I've included some more close up pictures that should show how the leather is attached and the drier areas -- that are less supple. I hope this helps. these are really high end tremendous chairs. some people demands perfect leather. and this is all original -- not perfect, but if you want the authentic italian leather work, with patina, etc., than these are the real deal... thanks!
