This orginial Sicilian "Pupo" (marionette) represents medieval knight Orlando il Furioso. It is about 20" high and hand-made in a small shop near Catania, Sicily. The costume is authentic from medieval times, with metal armor, boots, shield and sword. It has hand painted wooden face and a velvet black cape with golden trim and red pants . I brought it back from Sicily with me ten years ago and it is in excellent condition.
