Double your traffic. For sale is an outstanding Italian watercolor painting from an estate home out of New York. The painting was acquired at sale of the estate's items.This painting is very well executed with very fine detail and color. It features what to meet looks like possibly a Venetian coastal harbor scene with figures on a gondola style boat enjoying a leisurely time in the bay.It comes in a period 19th century gold gilt gesso frame which has sustained some damage to the gesso and gilt surface over the years. It also retains its original two board panel backer boards. I believe the painting was taken out and placed on an acid-free matting and returned to the frame to better preserve the beautiful colors of this painting.It is signed on the lower right-hand corner "G. CORTI Napoli"The quality of the painting is certainly of the quality of the finest watercolor artists of the time.It measures:Frame - 30 1/2" x 24 3/4"Sight - 20" x 14"Posted with eBay Mobile
