Item description

Italian Majolica Sculpture of

P. Marioni

Up for auction is this wonderful large sculpture of DON QUIXOTE.

It is an elaborate work of Italian Majolica art work, Studio pottery.

Though we couldn't find more information on the artist rather than his first name is possible Paolo his work is closely related to the style of Professor Eugenio Pattarino of whom we have had several pieces. It is clearly made in the same style: white glaze with bright colors and gold accents e.g. on the coat.

The details are sparkling, you can look at it and keep being amazed by the love/craftsmanschip that is put in every little detail.

A top piece of Italian art pottery, you will love it!

P. Marioni
