ITC / Ideal Model Halibut Submarine 1960!! If you didn’t get it on Christmas morning 1961 - here is that second chance. Please Note: I am not an expert on these old kits, this came from an estate sale and I will try and explain what I found. I make no guarantee as to the completeness of this kit or the operation of the electric motor. Box: top is rough but presentable, split on a few corner seams, missing one seven inch section on the side. Has that “ stuck in the attic “ for years look. Contents : 2 halves of the hull, numerous other pieces fitted into the interior card. One cut out appears empty or at least I could not figure out what might fit there. Please see foto with orange arrow. Of these pieces that were on the card, they are dusty but with no damage that I could find. There was one bag of red parts that was loose in the box. This bag had a small opening but when I looked at the spru, everything seemed still attached except for one rudder part and that was loose in the bag. Three other bags were stapled to the box / card; a small bag of metal fittings, a large bag with motor, shafts and springs and a bag of off - white plastic pieces. All of these bags were intact - no openings.There is a set of instructions that is complete, no marks, cuts or damage.So there you go!
