This item is a MUST have for any Red Sox or Baseball Collector- This is a very rare item! You don't see many like it! Story behind the ball: Recently had roof work done to my home- was cleaning out the attic when I stumbled across this gem in a 1960's era gym/duffel bag. It is a baseball (does not appear to be MLB official ball) autographed by TONY CONIGLIARO (aka TONY C), His brother- BILLY CONIGLIARO , KEN HARRELSON (the Hawk), JIM LONBORG , one unidentifiable signature (could be Ken Brett or George Scott- since it looks like last name ends with TT). All of these players played on the 1969 BOSTON RED SOX . There is a very faded inscription on the ball "To Richard, your pal- ??"- if you stare at it- it could say Ted Williams but that might be wishful thinking. Manager of the 1969 Sox was Dick Williams. Although, I'm a huge Red Sox fan- I'm not a collector- so please use the photos to judge condition of the ball. This ball has not been authenticated. I originally was going to get it authenticated and keep it for myself- but since the ball is older than me, I thought that a 1960's SOX fan might enjoy this ball more than I do!!
