Ives s.n. 58.1 quaint unmarked cast iron cap shooter in nickel plated finish with floral scroll work on the grips and a large flower design. All Ives toy guns are rare. Two stars for rarity in Best and Logans. SS / SA / CAP / REV. 4 1/2 inches in length. Manufactured 1882. Rarer even still in the nickel plating. Most of these now are without finish. It has a crack on the right side above the flower but is still very tight. Still works and will fire a cap, but will not stay cocked unless you apply pressure to the back of the trigger after cocking. See pictures.
