Just found three Ives railroad cars at an estate auction. This is 12579 General Merchandise Car of the St. Louis Southwestern Ry. Co. The Cotton Belt Route. Doors open, couplers work, paint is crisp. No rust. Played with gently or stored. Flaws are very minor. Upon very close inspection, one part of the roof needs to be slighty bent down. Looks like it has been stored or displyed more than played with. Some minor scratching but great for a piece of this age. Pease feel free to email with any questions and see my other auctions for more train items including rarer Ives cars, Plasticville and Revell accessories.
