You are bidding on a IVES engine and tender. Engine was made around 1928 and body is cast iron and engine weighs over 10 lbs alone. Engine measures 16 inches long 3 inches wide and 5 inches high. Tender is 10 inches long 3 inches wide and 5 inches high. This engine was my late dads. It looks to have been re-painted or restored over 40 years ago. I only know this because i have seen this engine sitting on a shelf in my dads train room for all of my life and i am over 40. Looks to me that part was missing and dad must have made his own out of plexi glass. I myself am not a train collector but will try to answer any questions you may have. If you would like any other pics taken of any certain areas of engine please ask and i will do my best to get that done for you before auctions end. Please look over pics carefully and decide what its worth bidding to have this beautiful piece in your collection. Please note that I try to be as fair as possible and describe this piece to the best of read more
