Set of TWO Carved Ivory Elephant Tusks NO RESERVE! Up for auction is a set of 2 carved ivory elephant tusks. These were owned by my grandfather and were obtained before the ban on elephant tusks. The large tusk is approx. 19.5" in length and the smaller tusk is approx. 15" in length. As seen in the pictures, the tusks have carvings of faces on the front part of the tusks. They both are attached to wood bases. My grandfather has recently passed away, so I am selling these as part of liquidation of all his items to settle his trust estate. I did not get appraisals on these tusks nor do I have any paper work on their authenticity. All information on this listing was provided to me by my grandfather when he gave me the item. I was highly assured by my grandfather that these tusks, and everything else I was given is fully aunthentic. I just don't have any paperwork to back it up. That is why this auction is NO RESERVE. I have no interest in getting full value for these items, because whatever I get goes towards the estate amyway. Thus, whoever gets these tusk will get them at a very, very good price. Good luck!
