This is a rare one of a kind ivory carving. The outside ball has approximately 8 balls (or more) carved inside of it and each ball is independent and moves. The diameter of the outside ball is 2-1/4 inches and the pedestal is approximately 5 inches tall. The base of the pedestal is 2 inches in diameter. T is a man carved on the front of the pedestal and his back is on the back of the pedestal. The pictures show front and back. This was purchased in China more than 40 years ago and it is in excellent condition. The outside ball might have a 1/4 inch piece of ivory missing but it is very difficult to tell if it is missing or if it was made that way. The third picture of the ball shows w the ivory might be missing.
